IAA Transportation 2026: VW ID Buzz Cargo with a long wheelbase

At the IAA Transportation (June 13–20) in Hanover, Volkswagen is unveiling the refreshed model years of the Caddy and Multivan, featuring a completely new cockpit design as well as Travel Assist with traffic light recognition. Also on display will be the ID Buzz Cargo with a long wheelbase. It offers an increased cargo volume of 4.4 cubic meters and a payload capacity of up to 697 kilograms. Pre-sales of the ID Buzz Cargo LWB, available with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, will begin shortly. VW is also bringing the ID Buzz AD—developed in collaboration with Moia and technology partner Mobileye for autonomous ride-hailing services—to the show. In its own “California World,” VWN will also showcase the technically and visually enhanced California, based on the extended Multivan.
