Faak am See is once again in the spotlight thanks to Harley-Davidson: Thousands of motorcyclists and fans from all over Europe are expected in Carinthia for European Bike Week, September 8–13. Set against the backdrop of the lake landscape and winding Alpine roads, this free brand gathering offers a six-day program featuring rides, new product presentations, music, and custom culture.
The center of the action is the approximately 40,000-square-meter Harley Village in Faak. There, Harley-Davidson will showcase its new 2026 models, including the Street Glide Limited, Road Glide Limited, and Pan America 1250 Limited. Accessories, the latest MotorClothes collection, and daily fashion shows round out the exhibition.
In the Demo Zone, visitors can test ride select bikes for free. The Pan America Adventure Zone is designed for adventure riders: With instructors Marco Belli and Alberto Cecotti, off-road tours, training sessions, and demonstrations are on the schedule. Guided rides organized by the H.O.G. Chapter Carinthia will also take participants through Carinthia and into neighboring Slovenia.
In the evenings, the venue transforms into a concert stage. More than 30 bands will perform at the Harley Bar and Saloon Bar; fire shows are scheduled for Friday and Saturday. Andrea Iannone will also be in attendance: The former MotoGP race winner is set to host autograph sessions, talks, and group rides on September 11 and 12.
Other highlights include the Creators Custom Clash featuring six custom bikes, the Metzeler Custombike Show on September 11 in Villach, and the Dunlop-sponsored parade on September 12. To wrap things up, Harley-Davidson will raffle off a Pan America 1250 Limited. (aum)
