One in three Geely cars is exported

Geely achieved record sales of more than 1.42 million vehicles in the first half of the year. Revenue exceeded the 21 billion euro mark for the first time, rising 15 percent year-over-year to 22.2 billion euros. Profit rose by 46 percent to 1.24 billion euros, growing at a faster rate than revenue.

One out of every three vehicles produced by the Chinese conglomerate was exported in the first six months. With 474,000 vehicles exported, the company had already surpassed the total export volume for the entire previous year (420,000 units) by the end of June. According to the company, Geely is now represented in 114 markets and has more than 2,000 locations worldwide. (aum)
