DS Automobiles Ends Its Formula E Participation

After eleven years, DS Automobiles will end its Formula E involvement this coming weekend. At the London E-Prix on August 15 and 16, the French premium brand will compete in its final races in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. Maximilian Günther and Taylor Barnard will once again battle for points in the DS E-Tense FE25.

Since joining the series in 2015, DS Automobiles has become one of the most successful manufacturers in the electric racing series. After 152 races, the team has secured four championship titles, 18 wins, 55 podium finishes, and 26 pole positions. Two drivers’ titles and two team titles underscore this impressive track record.

To mark its farewell, the DS E-Tense FE25 will feature a striking gold paint job. The design was developed specifically for the DS PENSKE team’s finale. The venue is once again the ExCeL Exhibition Center, whose 2.1-kilometer course runs through both indoor halls and outdoor sections.

The two races will start at 4 p.m. German time on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. DF1 will broadcast qualifying and the races on television and online. (aum)
