At the IAA Transportation in Hanover (Sept. 14–20), Nissan is focusing primarily on vehicle solutions for the Townstar and Interstar light commercial vehicles—both available in all-electric versions—as well as the Primastar. The range of conversions, developed in collaboration with renowned partners, extends from collection vehicles for municipal utilities to specialized models for the baking industry and refrigerated vehicles.
The exhibits include, among others, a fully electric Nissan Interstar-e with a bakery van body built by Evels Karosserie-Fahrzeugbau, as well as a three-way dump truck with a fold-out tree-trimming attachment based on the Interstar, developed in collaboration with bodywork specialist JPM. In addition, Nissan is showcasing a fully electric Townstar EV with a collection container from the Veth Automotive Group, a Primastar refrigerated van, and an Interstar-e equipped with a CEP shelving system for courier, express, and parcel services.
