Practical test Jeep Compass e-Hybrid: A Yank from Italy

When the Jeep Wagoneer rolled onto the market in 1963, nobody was talking about sports utility vehicles, and those responsible in Kenosha, Wisconsin, did not realize at the time that they had just invented a new automotive class. The Jeep developers were simply interested in transplanting comfort into the rough-and-tumble off-road vehicle - and were successful in doing so, but initially found few imitators. It took a few more decades before the soft-edged SUVs took over the market.
