Chery, China's largest passenger car exporter, is significantly expanding its development and design center in Raunheim in Germany. The area will be expanded from around 1100 square meters to over 2000 square meters. The number of employees is set to grow from the current 90 by up to 140 over the course of the year. At the R&D Center, Chery concentrates on adapting vehicles to European requirements. This includes chassis tuning, validation and homologation as well as the development of market-specific solutions.
