In 2025, the Renault Group sold 2,336,807 vehicles worldwide, which corresponds to an increase of 3.2%. All three of the Group's vehicle brands recorded growth. The Renault brand sold 1,628,030 vehicles, an increase of 3.2 percent compared to 2024. Dacia sold 697,408 vehicles (up 3.1 percent), while Alpine more than doubled its figures compared to the previous year with 10,970 vehicles (up 139.2 percent). The new all-electric A290 accounted for the majority of this with 8,198 units sold.
The growth driver for the Group, with 1,607,848 vehicles sold, was passenger car sales in Europe, particularly in the compact segment. At 31.1 percent, they account for a good third of all sales. However, the largest car manufacturer in France is concerned about the light commercial vehicle business. A total of 244,927 units represent a decline of 21.1 percent. However, Renault expects a recovery this year thanks to a gradual increase in the availability of the various Master models.
With 1,628,030 vehicles sold worldwide (up 3.2 percent), the Renault brand alone achieved growth of 10.0 percent in global passenger car sales. In Europe, the brand achieved second place in the passenger car and LCV market. Electric vehicles accounted for a good fifth (20.2 percent) with 151,939 units sold, while full hybrid vehicles accounted for 38.4 percent with around 287,000 units. (aum)
