From Dacia to BRP

Denis Le Vot will become the new President of the Canadian manufacturer BRP on February 1. He succeeds José Boisjoli, who was at the helm for 22 years and is retiring after 36 years with the powersports company. Le Vot was most recently CEO of Dacia.

Denis Le Vot has more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry. An engineer by training, he has worked for the Renault Group in various positions since 1990. In addition to France, he worked in Russia, Belgium, Turkey and the USA, where he managed Nissan. In 2019, Le Vot returned to France to take charge of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance's light commercial vehicles. For the past five years, the Frenchman was head of the Romanian Renault subsidiary Dacia. Automobilwoche voted him "CEO of the Year" in 2024 for his management style and sales success. (aum)
