The electric Merceds-Benz CLA was named Europe's "Car of the Year" at the Brussels Motor Show today. The vehicle, which has been available since mid-2025, beat six other finalists in the vote by 60 automotive journalists from 23 countries. A total of 35 models competed for the "Car of the Year" award.
The 200 kW (272 hp) Mercedes-Benz CLA 250+ with EQ technology, as Stuttgart somewhat awkwardly puts it, offers a range of almost 800 kilometers according to the WLTP standard and, thanks to 800-volt technology, can get electricity for up to 325 kilometers on board in ten minutes. (aum)
