New Manthey kit for Porsche 911 GT3
The Porsche 911 GT3 has been the preferred trackday vehicle of demanding enthusiasts for years. With the new Manthey kit, Porsche is expanding the range of its high-performance options and significantly sharpening the character of the GT sports car once again. The package, created in collaboration between the Weissach development center and the Manthey specialists in Meuspath, includes extensively revised aerodynamics, an adjustable four-way coilover suspension and optimized brake components. On the Nürburgring Nordschleife, the 911 GT3 with the Manthey kit achieved an officially confirmed time of 6:52.981 minutes - almost three seconds faster than its predecessor.
At the heart of the upgrade is the aerodynamics: a completely smoothed underbody with extended turning vanes, a redesigned front lip, larger front diffuser fins and a wider rear wing and enlarged end plates significantly increase downforce. In circuit configuration, the 911 GT3 achieves up to 540 kilograms of downforce at 285 km/h without additional drag. CfK aerodiscs on the rear axle complete the overall concept and improve the efficiency of the airflow.
The adaptable coilover suspension increases mechanical grip with modified spring rates and dampers that can be adjusted without tools. Porsche also offers lighter forged wheels as well as steel-coated brake lines and optional racing brake pads, which promise particularly precise modulation.
Carbon details, coloured aerodiscs and towing eyes for track use are available for additional individualization. The Manthey kit is expected to be available from March 2026 at prices starting from 41,911 euros plus country-specific VAT and installation at Porsche Centers. Despite the clear focus on performance, the full factory warranty remains in place. (aum)
