Kia EV 4 wins "WLTP Challenge"

The Kia EV 4 Fastback had by far the lowest consumption of the five participating electric cars in the "WLTP Challenge". At 10.8 kilowatt hours, it remained 25 percent below the official WLTP value of 14.4 kWh per 100 kilometers. After almost 330 kilometers, the on-board computer showed a remaining range of 403 kilometers. The official range is 633 kilometers.

The efficiency rally organized by the e-mobility magazine "Electrive Drive" covered a good 300 kilometers through Mecklenburg-Vorpommern with a route profile ranging from city traffic to the freeway. The start and finish point was Neustrelitz. The other four electric models consumed between twelve and 14.8 kWh.
