Kia has landed its latest coup even before the official market launch: With a record-breaking run by the PV5 Cargo, the brand secured a Guinness entry - albeit in a discipline that no one had ever achieved before. At the Solutrans commercial vehicle trade fair in Lyon (-22.11.), the Koreans presented the next expansion stage of their "Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV)" strategy. With the PV5 Chassis Cab, the first all-electric chassis with cab in the eLCV segment, Kia wants to shake up the competition after becoming a major player in the electric mobility business with its EV models in the passenger car segment. "And now we are ready to apply the same innovation and vision to redefine the light commercial vehicle segment," said Marc Hedrich, President and CEO of Kia Europe, at the launch in Lyon.
