Leapmotor cracks the million mark
Leapmotor has cracked the one million vehicle production mark - as only the second Chinese e-car start-up ever to do so. Particularly remarkable: the journey from the 500,000th to the millionth model took just 343 days, faster than any other young electric car manufacturer in China.
The figures prove the steep rise: from January to August 2025, Leapmotor sold more than 320,000 vehicles, putting it at the top of the rankings of new Chinese brands. The company was also nominated for the Fortune China 500.
Leapmotor covers the A to D segments with four model series - from small and compact cars to SUVs and MPVs. In Germany, the brand is currently represented by its sales partner Stellantis with the small car T03 and SUV C10; the C-segment SUV B10 is currently being launched at an entry-level price starting at 29,900 euros. The compact hatchback B05 celebrated its premiere at the IAA Mobility in September 2025 and is due to be launched internationally in 2026. (aum)
