In the rear-view mirror: The "King of Cool" drove to church in this car

"I drive this car to church on Sundays", Steve McQueen, known in Hollywood as the "King of Cool", is said to have said about his 1952 Hudson Wasp. A car for leisurely cruising, then, and certainly not a car for the racetrack, where McQueen liked to spend a lot of time when he wasn't in front of the camera. The turquoise two-door car with whitewall tires, split windscreen and black-painted roof will be auctioned by RM Sotheby's on October 9.
