Honda is developing a new fuel cell module. It offers three times the volumetric power density of the current system, can be produced at half the cost and should last twice as long. Large-scale production is scheduled to begin in 2027. Areas of application remain electrically powered cars and commercial vehicles as well as construction machinery and stationary generators. Honda is presenting the new module this week at the "World Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition" in Rotterdam. (aum)
