Audi's new Business Class
Audi is adding a business saloon to its A6 model series. A striking feature of the sporty, elegant body is the low-positioned single-frame radiator grille, the slim headlights and the side air intakes. Among other things, these so-called air curtains ensure the top aerodynamic value of cW 0.23 - the best of any production model with a combustion engine in Audi's history. The rear light graphics, the continuous light strip and the vertical brake light catch the eye on the slightly upward-sloping notchback.
There are three engines available at the market launch - two petrol engines and one diesel unit. The 2.0 TFSI four-cylinder with 204 hp (150 kW), with 7-speed S-tronic as standard, is the entry-level model. There is also a 2.0 TDI four-cylinder with the same output, but equipped with MHEV plus technology and a 48-volt on-board electrical system. The belt starter generator is designed to increase comfort by ensuring a smooth engine start and shortening the reaction time when moving off. The diesel is available with a dual-clutch gearbox and front or all-wheel drive. The third variant, a 3.0 TFSI six-cylinder with 367 hp (270 kW), is also partially electrified and equipped with all-wheel drive as standard. Air suspension and all-wheel steering are available as options.
The new A6 Sedan will be produced in Neckarsulm and offered worldwide. It will be available to order from mid-April 2025. The price list starts at 55,500 euros. Deliveries to customers are scheduled to begin in summer 2025. (aum)
