In purely statistical terms, ten Leapmotor brand vehicles were sold in Germany every day in March. The Chinese brand, in which Stellantis holds a 51% stake, recorded over 330 new registrations last month. That was almost as many as in the two previous months combined. In March, the still young brand was number four among battery electric vehicles from China.
The dealer network now comprises almost 90 locations. The new Leapmotor C10 REEV will also be arriving there this month, with prices starting at 37,600 euros. The range extender vehicle is powered by a 158 kW (215 hp) electric motor, while a 1.5-liter combustion engine with 68 hp (50 kW) serves as a generator and recharges the battery while driving. This results in a maximum range of over 900 kilometers. (aum)
