Mercedes-Benz sold 2,389,000 passenger cars and vans worldwide last year. This is four percent fewer than in 2023, with sales of electric models falling disproportionately by over a fifth (minus 22 percent). In Europe, the brand sold three percent fewer vehicles, while the decline in China amounted to seven percent. In the domestic market, new registrations were nine percent down on the previous year. Mercedes recorded increases in sales in the USA (plus eight percent) and other parts of the world (+4%). (aum)
