The Panigale V4 wears tricolor
Ducati will produce the Panigale V4 "Tricolore" in an edition of 1000 for collectors and fans. Its paintwork in the Italian national colors is a tribute to the 750 F1 from 1984, with which the history of modern super sports bikes from Borgo Panigale began 40 years ago and which has always been reserved for the brand's most prestigious superbikes since the first 851 Desmoquattro in 1988. The special model also marks the end of Ducati's most successful year in motorsport.
The white, red and green paintwork on the Panigale V4 Tricolore is presented in an asymmetrical version for the first time by combining it with the black and white of the checkered flag, the symbol of victory, on the lower part of the fairing. There are also start number panels with the number one on the cockpit and on the side fairing as well as weight-saving five-spoke carbon rims. The machine weighs 188 kilograms ready to ride (without fuel).
The V4 Tricolore is the first production motorcycle in the world to be equipped with the "Front Brake Pro" braking system from Brembo. The almost 40-centimeter brake discs were tested by the factory riders at the Race of Champions and are derived from racing. The brake callipers have a titanium anodized finish. The optional equipment is completed by a dry clutch, adjustable Vollen aluminum footrests and a GPS module. If you want to use the Panigale V4 Tricolore on the racetrack, you also have access to special racing components.
The Panigale V4 Tricolore is supplied with an Alcantara seat and a special screen animation when starting up, as well as a certificate of authenticity and a special cover. The model number is engraved on the fork bridge and is also indicated on the aluminum plate of the ignition key. If you want, you can also buy a helmet and a jacket in a limited Tricolore edition.
The motorcycle itself costs 54,500 euros plus delivery costs. (aum)
