Range Rover has unveiled the most exclusive vehicle ever produced by the team at its in-house customization division, SV Bespoke, at Design Miami: the Range Rover SV Candeo. The luxurious one-off features handcrafted Range Rover 3D lettering in solid 18-karat gold, made by British jewelers from fully recycled and sustainably sourced gold.
The name of the exclusive long-wheelbase collector's vehicle is derived from the Latin candere ("to shine" or "to glow") and is said to be inspired by the sunrises of Miami. Accordingly, as part of an official partnership with Design Miami, the Range Rover SV Candeo is presented in a room that shows the view of the Atlantic Ocean in a cinematic setting. A hand-applied, two-tone paint finish is intended to evoke its coastal skyline. The interior indulges in a leather interior in Liberty Blue Near-Aniline and Perlino Semi-Aniline with bright embroidery in a radial sun design, of which the rear seat cushions alone each have 90,000 stitches. For the first time in a Range Rover, there is even an embroidered headliner.
This is complemented by dark natural wood veneers and white ceramic surfaces on the gearshift and controls. The rear offers 24-way adjustable massage seats for two passengers, a cooling compartment for drinks and an electrically extendable club table in the full-length center console. The luxurious interior is rounded off by two fold-out seats in the rear, the so-called "Tailgate Event Suite", also in Liberty Blue Near-Analine leather with embroidered seat upholstery. (aum)
