Maserati celebrated its 110th birthday in Modena at the weekend. An exclusive number of guests were invited to the "Trident Experience" in the trademark trident. The event kicked off with the unveiling of the all-electric Gran Turismo "110 Anniversario" at the historic headquarters in Viale Ciro Menotti. The striking tower on the company premises was specially illuminated for the occasion. The special model comes in two configurations, each with 55 units, one car for each year of the brand.
After a gala dinner the evening before, the second day took us to the Modena racetrack. After a parade of current and historic Maserati cars, there were test drives with the MC20, the Gran Turismo and the Grecale Folgore as well as hot laps with the GT2 Stradale and MC Xtrema. The Maserati Corse GT2 was also on display. Afterwards, the models could also be driven on the road. (aum)
