Volkswagen continues to focus on China
The Volkswagen Group wants to strengthen its position in China and has extended the joint venture agreement with SAIC at an early stage by ten years until 2040. SAIC Volkswagen plans to launch 18 new VW and Audi brand models by the end of this decade. 15 of these are to be developed exclusively for the Chinese market. The cooperation with SAIC goes back 40 years. (aum)
