Ineos to ramp up production again soon

After a forced break since September due to supply bottlenecks for an essential component, Ineos will restart production at the beginning of the year. The off-road vehicle manufacturer at the former Smart plant in Hambach, Alsace, is currently still heavily affected by the partial insolvency of the Swabian seat supplier Recaro

Nevertheless, the company is satisfied with the year so far. "By the summer of this year, we had sold as many Grenadiers as in the whole of 2023 combined. We are on track to have over 20,000 Grenadiers on the road before the end of 2024," said CEO Lynn Calder. (aum/av)
