Mazda is sending the CX-60 into model year 2025 with an extensively modified chassis and better equipment, promising more ride comfort, stability and steering precision. In addition, the complete "Plus" package will be added to the two top versions Homura and Takumi. The Homura also gets a black nappa leather interior, a vinyl-leather cover for the dashboard, decorative inserts in gun-metal finish in the doors and center console as well as a black headliner. The update for model year 2025 is completed by the new Zircon Sand metallic paint finish.
The chassis modifications mainly concern the geometry and damping of the double-wishbone front suspension and the components of the multi-link rear suspension. This improves controllability and rolling behavior. Softer springs in conjunction with firmer shock absorbers are used on the rear suspension, and the spring travel has also been increased. This minimizes pitching movements. In addition, the software for the power steering, the driving dynamics controls and the i-Activ AWD all-wheel drive system has been retuned.
There are a total of six equipment lines. The new Homura Plus and Takumi Plus versions offer, among other things, an electrically operated panoramic sliding glass roof, a Bose sound system with twelve speakers, an electrically operated tailgate with sensor control, an inductive charging system for smartphones and a 360-degree monitor with "See-Through View".
Prices for the Mazda CX-60 start at 47,990 euros. Orders for the new model year are already possible and the first vehicles will go on sale in February. (aum)
