Achim Puchert becomes CEO of Mercedes-Benz Trucks

Achim Puchert (45) will become CEO of Mercedes-Benz Trucks on December 1. He is currently still President of Mercedes-Benz do Brasil and Latin America and in his new role will replace Karin Radström, who was appointed Chairwoman of the Board of Management of Daimler Truck Holding in October.

Achim Puchert holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration for International Business and a Master in International Management. He began his career in the former Daimler Group in 2002 and held international positions in Key Account Management, Management Associate, Market Management and Sales Controlling until 2010. He then became Executive Assistant to the Head of Sales, Marketing and Customer Service Mercedes-Benz Trucks before taking up the position of Senior Manager Alliance Office for Daimler's then truck cooperation in Russia.

In 2015, Puchert took over the management of cooperations and international industrialization projects at Mercedes-Benz Trucks. In this role, he was also responsible for the global CKD locations. In 2019, he was appointed Senior Vice President Sales, Marketing and Customer Service Daimler Truck Asia and one year later also took over the position of Senior Vice President Daimler Truck Overseas. Achim Puchert has headed the truck and bus business in South America as CEO and President Mercedes-Benz do Brasil and Latin America since 2022. His successor there is still open. (aum)
