With the introduction of the second model generation of the Kodiaq, the RS as the sporty spearhead of the series will gain 20 hp. In future, the 2.0-liter petrol engine will produce 265 hp (195 kW) and deliver a maximum torque of 400 Newton meters. This enables the all-wheel drive SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 231 km/h.
Special bumpers and the horizontal light strip along the front grille as well as black body details emphasize the dynamic appearance. The standard equipment includes Matrix LED main headlights, progressive steering, DCC Plus adaptive suspension and a Canton sound system. There is a choice of two interior designs.
Skoda is also expanding the range of engines for the Selection and Sportline equipment lines to include a 2.0 TSI with 204 PS (150 kW). It is combined with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and all-wheel drive. The price list starts at 47,200 euros for the Kodiaq Selection. Prices and the market launch date for the RS are not yet known. (aum)
