MG ZS Hybrid+ and HS PHEV: dual SUV strategy
MG Motors is very successful in Germany with its best-selling electric MG 4. However, the former British brand, which is now entirely Chinese, is now also looking to score points in the combustion engine segment with the new editions of the electrified ZS Hybrid+ and HS PHEV models. And as with the electric models, the two SUVs also carry the mantra "value for money" in front of them. In some cases, they undercut their direct competitors by more than 10,000 euros. Nevertheless, the full and plug-in hybrid models are a far cry from the former low-cost Chinese models. (aum)
