With the new 1390, KTM ignites the next penalty of the Super Adventure S. The displacement increases from 1301 to 1350 cubic centimeters, the power increases by 13 hp to 173 hp (127 kW) at 9600 rpm and the maximum torque from 140 Newton meters to 145 Nm at 8000 rpm. The 1390 Super Adventure S Evo, to give it its full name, features the automated manual gearbox and the vertical eight-inch display as new technical developments from the Austrians. An adaptive cruise control system with stop & go function is also on board.
The frame, bodywork, seat design, lighting system, windshield and headlights have also been changed compared to the predecessor. The storage compartment is larger and the footrests are wider and slightly lower. The new KTM will go on sale at the beginning of next year. (aum)
