Great Wall Motor has commissioned its Dutch subsidiary to expand its European business. At the same time, the new spare parts warehouse in Amsterdam was put into operation. The sales structure via national partners, such as the Emil Frey Group for the German market, will remain in place. GWM also announced additional petrol and full hybrid versions of the Wey 03 for next year, which is currently offered as a plug-in hybrid with a standard range of 139 kilometers.
In September, the company sold 108,400 vehicles worldwide, 15 percent more than in the same month last year. 40 percent of all cars were sold outside the domestic market, meaning that GWM increased its deliveries by over 53 percent to more than 320,000 in the first nine months. (aum)
