Alfa Romeo is now also offering the top-of-the-range electric model in the Junior series. The Junior Veloce produces 207 kW(280 hp) and accelerates the small car to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. The top speed is limited to 200 km/h. The maximum torque is 345 Newton meters. A mechanical limited slip differential on the front axle prevents the wheels from spinning. The battery has a capacity of 54 kilowatt hours, which should enable an average range of up to 315 kilometers.
Compared to the Junior Elettrica with 115 kW (156 hp), the Veloce features, among other things, a two-and-a-half centimetre lower chassis with reinforced stabilizers, a more direct steering ratio and a sports brake system as well as 20-inch alloy wheels. The body colors Bianco Sempione, Nero Tortona, Rosso Brera, Grigio Arese and Avorio Scala are available, each with a black painted roof as standard. The seat upholstery consists of a black and red fabric/artificial leather combination as standard, with optional bucket seats from Sabelt available in the Sport package.
The Alfa Romeo Junior Veloce costs 48,500 euros. (aum)
