The Renault Group sold just under 1.64 million vehicles worldwide in the first nine months of the year. This was the same level as the previous year (minus 0.4%). Group turnover also remained stable at 10.7 billion euros (+1.8%), with the Automotive division accounting for 9.35 billion euros (-0.5%).
In Europe, sales climbed by an above-average 3.1 percent to almost 1.18 million vehicles, while the market as a whole grew by 1.8 percent. The core brand sold 3.5 percent more cars than in the same period last year, while Dacia sold 2.2 percent more and Alpine 17.5 percent more. (aum)
