Climate-friendly through the Swiss Alps in a sports car

93 percent less vehicle emissions over the course of the journey thanks to e-fuel, generated with electricity from renewable sources - that was the result of a tour by 157 guests from all over the world in 15 fourth-generation Bentley Continental GT Speed Coupés and Cabriolets. The route covered almost 13,000 kilometers over seven days with a total of more than 40,000 meters of elevation gain and 4,500 hairpin bends. It was the first event of its kind to demonstrate the compatibility of e-fuels with existing combustion engines. The climate-friendly fuel comes from Porsche's Haru Oni pilot plant in Chile. (aum)
