As the old motorsport and marketing adage goes, "win on sunday, sell on monday". It may not be quite that quick at Ducati, but the Desmo 450 MX can be ordered there from January. The first vehicles are due to be delivered in June. The new motocross machine won the Italian championship in its debut season this year with Alessandro Lupino. Next year, the Desmo 450 X will then compete in the world championship with Jeremy Seewer, while Alessandro Lupino and Tony Cairoli will soon complete the first tests with the 250cc model. (aum)
