Paris 2024: Citroën looks to the future of the C5 Aircross

Citroën is giving a preview of the next generation of the C5 Aircross at the Paris Motor Show (-20.10.). With a length of 4.65 meters, the completely redesigned concept vehicle is 15 centimeters longer than the current model. The developers paid a lot of attention to reducing aerodynamic drag. The small winglets on the D-pillar, for example, are striking. Among other things, Citroën promises an increase in electric range of around 30 kilometers for the plug-in Hybird.

Also on show will be the new model year of the Ami electric light vehicle, which will have a more flattened front end with higher headlights and side trims reminiscent of the 2 CV. The Ami Buggy Vision for the beach and for surfers can be seen as a concept vehicle with a wider track and lightweight off-road tires, among other features. The facelift of the C4 will also be presented. The model series has been given a modified front section with the new brand identity. In future, the driver will be looking at a digital seven-inch instrument cluster. The engine range will be supplemented by the 100 and 136 hybrid variants. (aum)
