Polestar 3: New polar star in the luxury SUV firmament
After Polestar was only on the European market with a single model, the electric saloon 2, for a long time, the former Volvo, now independent Geely subsidiary, is launching two new electric models, the Polestar 3 and 4, almost simultaneously this year. What looks like a major product offensive, however, has all too familiar reasons. Problems with software development prevented the "three" from being delivered months ago - Volkswagen, you're not alone!
However, we would like to be a fly on the wall when Polestar salespeople talk to customers in the future. It would be interesting to hear how they will explain the ranking of the new electric models to potential buyers. After all, contrary to all the usual numerical hierarchies in the industry, the full-size SUV 3 is the larger and higher positioned top model, while the slightly smaller SUV Coupé 4 is currently the most powerful Polestar in the range. In the end, the question of purpose and design will probably be the deciding factor. And here the Polestar 3 is not stingy with its advantages. (aum)
