Stocktaking and future prospects

From tomorrow until Saturday, September 14, the international automotive industry will meet in Frankfurt for the annual "Automechanika". Participants from over 170 nations are expected over the five days of the trade fair, including around 4,200 exhibitors from industry, workshops and trade. This year's trade fair will focus on the topics of electrification, sustainability, digitalization, networking, AI and recruiting.

"For more than 50 years, Automechanika in Frankfurt has provided an opportunity to take stock of the automotive industry and all its segments," says Detlef Braun, Member of the Board of Management of Messe Frankfurt. He speaks of the unbroken innovative strength of the automotive aftermarket. "If we receive a record number of submissions for the Innovation Awards in times of digital transformation, that is a very positive sign." (aum)
