Bosch has reached another milestone in the development of a global charging network for electric cars. The company now has over one million charging points on four continents. This makes it one of the world's largest networks. Bosch's charging services are accessible to users via a smartphone app, and the Group also offers its solutions to vehicle manufacturers and companies. The charging points can currently be used in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. There are currently around 800,000 charging points in Europe alone.
Bosch expects one in three new vehicles worldwide to be purely electric by 2030, and one in two by 2035. The Stuttgart-based technology group and automotive supplier expects its business with charging solutions to grow by over 50 percent annually by the end of the decade. (aum)
