Basic version without major sacrifices

The C4 You is the basic version of Citroën's compact model range and is available from dealers for an affordable 19,565 euros. Does basic mean sacrifice? Not really. A two-zone automatic air conditioning system is on board, as are the usual assistance systems. The materials are neat and cleanly finished. The chassis and drive are in line with the higher-priced variants and achieve good comfort and performance values.

The person behind the wheel looks at a functional digital information center and a manageable infotainment offering. The switches that can be used to operate "mundane" settings are pleasingly analog. The spaciousness of the 4.36-meter compact is appropriate for the segment, and passengers also have sufficient space in the rear. The trunk measures 380 liters, but can be enlarged to 1250 liters, which is on a par with the usual volume in this class.

The 1.2-liter turbo engine produces 101 hp (74 kW) and has no problems getting the 1.3-tonner up to speed. The chassis is identical to the better-equipped variants and is one of the more comfortable representatives. The C4 absorbs most infrastructure deficits, only short undulations are noticeable.
