Chery sets range record

Chery has set a range record for plug-in hybrids and entered its name in the Guinness Book of Records. A Fulwin T10 from the Chinese manufacturer covered a distance of over 2100 kilometers on one battery charge and a full tank. The previous record was beaten by 300 kilometers.

The Chery Fulwin T10 is a D-segment SUV. In the all-wheel drive version, it has a system output of 610 hp (455 kW) and a maximum torque of 960 Newton meters. The vehicle combines a 154 hp (115 kW) and 220 Nm 1.5 L four-cylinder turbo with three electric motors. With a capacity of almost 34.5 kWh, the battery pack supplied by CATL enables a purely electric range of around 200 kilometers. The front-wheel drive version delivers 375 hp (280 kW) and 610 Nm using the same technology. (aum)
