The European Bike Week celebrates Willie G. Davidson

Europe's biggest motorcycle party, Harley-Davidson's European Bike Week in Faak am See, will take place this year from September 3 to 8 and is once again open to riders of all brands. After last year's 25th anniversary, this time Willie G. Davidson will be celebrated. The grandson of one of the company's founders, he was head of styling for the brand from 1963 to 2012 and became a living legend for its fans. The meeting in Austria pays tribute to the designer and artist with pictures and activities such as the presentation of a limited edition clothing series and the exhibition of various motorcycles designed by him at the Classic Bike Expo.

With free admission, the 40,000 square meter Harley Village offers a colourful program with a dealer mile, catering, test rides and an off-road zone dedicated to Pan America with shows and tutorials. Spanish rally legend Joan Perero will also be there.

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, visitors can explore the most beautiful motorcycle routes in the area on guided tours with the Carinthia Chapter Austria of the Harley Owners Group. And if you don't have a driving license, you can experience the feeling of riding a motorcycle on a simulator. There will be 40 live performances on two main stages in two large tents. The headliners include the band "Stiletto", who will be playing on Saturday. Pyro and drone shows will take place on Friday and Saturday night. Other highlights of the European Bike Week on both days are the Custom Bike Show and the big motorcycle parade. Visitors also have the chance to win a new Harley-Davidson. (aum)
