The Porsche Museum in Stuttgart has added an escape game to its offerings. In this modern form of scavenger hunt, visitors delve deep into the history of the sports car manufacturer, but also into the building itself. At the end of the game, a mysterious puzzle cube awaits the team of participants.
Problem-solving skills, visual processing, abstract and creative thinking are required on the hidden course. Search, logic and action puzzles alternate with each other. For example, participants have to research with invisible ink, combine in a decoding puzzle and face a skill challenge. The game takes place over three floors of the Porsche Museum.
A pilot mission with a frame story awaits the teams, followed by annual missions. Visitors take on the role of the Porsche Heritage Guardians, who are dedicated to protecting and preserving the brand values and have special equipment at their disposal. At the end, the successful participants receive an exclusive badge as a sign of recognition.
The escape game is aimed at small groups of two to five people aged 14 and over, who are given 90 minutes to play the game with the help of a tablet. The first puzzle is collected at the ticket desk in the foyer. Then it's time to find the rucksack filled with aids. A chatbot function guides the participants through the game on a tablet. AR applications and digital aids help them solve the puzzles. For the finale, the teams open the so-called Escape Cube with a code. The aim is to set four wheels correctly.
The price is 175 euros per group, including admission to the museum for the day. The game is available in German and English. (aum)
