First international outing for the Ducati Desmo 450 MX
Ducati continues to prepare for the international deployment of the Desmo 450 MX next year. Nine-time world champion Tony Cairoli will be a guest rider on the motocross prototype at the world championship round in the Netherlands (August 17/18). This will be the bike's first appearance outside of the Italian championship, where Alessandro Lupino will be looking to defend his overall lead at the race in Castiglione del Lago two weeks later and development work will continue. Next year, the Desmo 450 MX will then compete regularly in the world championship. (aum)
