New Arto comes to Düsseldorf

The brand that once made history with the Clou motorhome is keeping up with the times: Niesmann + Bischoff presents the fifth generation of the integrated Arto series. Two versions are in the program. The Arto 78 is 7.82 meters long and costs 138,990 euros. The Arto 88 with a length of 9.06 meters rolls on a tandem axle and is available from dealers for at least 159,990 euros. Both use the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with an Alko frame and are 2.40 meters wide. The permissible gross weight of the smaller Arto is 4.5 tons, while the three-axle vehicle weighs a maximum of 5.5 tons. The four-cylinder engine delivers 150 hp (110 kW), with the more powerful 170 hp (125 kW) diesel engine available as an option for an extra 2850 euros.

Both layouts are equipped with single beds in the rear, and a drop-down bed can also be fitted here instead of the overhead storage compartments at the top of the cab. The face-to-face seating group can be easily converted into two seats arranged in the direction of travel and equipped with seat belts. In the bathroom, a sliding wall provides comfort, making the space available either for showering or for washing hands and using the toilet. In the kitchen, the stove combines an induction hob and two gas burners, and can be equipped with an oven, grill, microwave and dishwasher on request. The new Arto will celebrate its premiere at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf at the end of August. (aum)
