If IDA doesn't know what to do, Chat-GPT can help
Volkswagen is equipping more and more models with the Chat-GPT AI. Vehicles with the new VW Connect infotainment generation now have the system on board as standard. It is operated via the VW voice assistant IDA. Chat-GPT comes into play when a question cannot be answered by the previous system.
Volkswagen emphasizes that the AI does not have access to the vehicle data. Questions and answers are deleted immediately in the interests of data protection. The online voice assistant can be deactivated in the settings of the Volkswagen app or in the privacy settings in Infotainment. Chat-GPT is currently available from VW in German, Spanish, Czech and English (including the US version). (aum)
