With the Trepiuno study, Fiat gave a preview of the 500 launched three years later at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show. The 20th anniversary is now being celebrated with a limited special edition. The body of the Fiat 500 Tributo Trepiuno features rear lights with red inserts and "Fiat" lettering on a blue background, reminiscent of the 1999 logo created to mark the brand's 100th anniversary. The five-spoke alloy wheels are fitted with specific hub caps.
The interior of the Tributo Trepiuno picks up on the two-tone design of the 2004 concept car. The seats are upholstered in genuine leather in a combination of white and red-brown and decorated with the embroidered "Trepiuno XX" logo to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Geneva study. The trim is also in reddish brown. In addition, the dashboard features drawings made by designer Roberto Giolito at the time.
Each Fiat 500 Tributo Trepiuno is delivered with a certificate of authenticity from Stellantis Heritage. A price has not yet been communicated. The name Trepiuno of the concept car was derived from the special layout of the interior, which had two fully-fledged seats in the front row and fold-down emergency seats in the rear. (aum)
