Audi is giving its Q2 models a small infotainment update in the middle of the year. Every compact SUV will then be delivered with the "Audi virtual cockpit". In contrast to classic round instruments, the fully digital cockpit has a full HD display and several customization options. The view button on the 3-spoke multifunction steering wheel, which now also comes as standard, can be used to switch between different views at the touch of a button.
The 8.8-inch touchscreen as the central control unit of the MMI infotainment system will also be standard equipment. As an alternative to touch input, the system can be operated using a new voice control system which, depending on the equipment, can also understand complex commands or questions in natural language. The previous rotary pushbutton is no longer required and is replaced by a storage compartment. The base price for the Audi Q2 is 28,600 euros. (aum)
