Toyota achieves record sales in Europe

Toyota sold 1.17 million vehicles across Europe last year, including the Group brand Lexus. This is nine percent more than in 2022 and a record figure for the company. Lexus increased by 46 percent with more than 73,600 new registrations.

With a market share of 6.7 percent, Toyota Motor Europe consolidated its second place among the top-selling passenger car brands. The Yaris, Corolla, C-HR and RAV4 models account for three quarters of deliveries.

With 18 percent growth, the commercial vehicle business also set a new record. Toyota sold 140,062 vans, delivery vans and pick-ups. (aum)
